Scheduling Inspections

To schedule an inspection contact the Building Department at (210) 698-0900.  Inspections must be requested at least 24 hours in advance. Inspections are done to ensure that the project is in compliance with City ordinance and state regulations. The inspection costs are included in the permit fee.

Completion of Inspection
At the completion of each inspection, the inspector will email an approval / disapproval form to the responsible party. The status of your inspection will be indicated on the form. If you have a box checked that requires a correction, that item must be corrected and inspected again for compliance before the project can proceed.

Required Inspections by Project
Each printed permit will indicate what inspections are required for that specific project.
