As part of the City’s annual road maintenance program, work in the Deer Meadow Estates neighborhood is scheduled to occur from September 10, 2021, through September 17, 2021.

In preparation for this project the Public Works team has begun trimming low hanging tree limbs and overgrown vegetation that may impede the road treatment process. This is required to protect trees and other landscaping from damage caused by large equipment involved in the road maintenance process. Our Public Works team will only cut the necessary clearance measuring 13 feet straight up from the curb to avoid crossing the right-of-way line. If you plan on trimming trees or vegetation yourself or having a landscaper trim them, we ask that you review the City’s Tree Maintenance Ordinance located on our website.

Please plan accordingly while road work is taking place in your area. Some roads may be limited to one-way traffic or closed for up to 6 hours during the road treatment process. On trash pick-up days please place your trash receptacle where you would normally, Republic will pick it up before maintenance begins.  Please know these are subject to change.  If you have any questions or concerns, please contact Julio Colunga, Public Works Superintendent or Mike Davis, Maintenance Supervisor at 210-698-0900.
