Tree City USA

Our designation as a Tree City USA underscores the City's ongoing commitment to urban forestry and tree care. We aim to continue honoring this designation through  our dedication to continuously maintaining a healthy, sustainable urban forest, which enhances the quality of life for all our residents.

Oak Wilt Fund 

One of our key initiatives is the Oak Wilt Fund, designed to combat the spread of oak wilt, a deadly disease affecting our oak trees. This fund provides resources and support to mitigate the impact of oak wilt, preserving the health and beauty of our urban forest.

Through the program, residents can apply for a reimbursement of up to 50% of the total cost of oak wilt treatment, with a maximum payout of $1,500 per fiscal year per property.

Water Conservation

Water is one of our most precious resources, and the City of Fair Oaks Ranch is committed to its conservation. Our water conservation programs aim to reduce water usage, promote efficient irrigation practices, and educate residents on the importance of conserving water. By implementing:

  • Responsible and protective ordinances such as the City-wide Watering Day Schedule to ensure sustainable practice and efficiency of our water system.
  • Focus on educational resources and resident engagement to encourage participation and cooperation for the further stewardship of our water resources.
  • Maintaining the City's Superior Water System through the diligent maintenance of the City utility.

The City actively partners with residents and neighboring communities to promote sustainable living and environmental awareness.
