Battle Intense Sidewalk Repair

The Battle Intense Sidewalk Repair Project is now in its final stages. The new sidewalk and handrail look great and will improve pedestrian safety along the Battle Intense roadway!
The sidewalk has reopened and is ready for foot traffic!
Vote Early

Early Voting  

Early Voting began Monday, April 24, 2023! Fair Oaks Ranch voters will have two polling sites to choose from during Early Voting. Voters can vote at the Fair Oaks Ranch Police Department, the Kendall County Courthouse Annex, or by mail. Van Raub Elementary School is no longer a polling location.

Registered voters in Comal County who live in the Comal ISD's jurisdiction are eligible to vote for a Bond Election by visiting a Comal County Vote Center from April 24 - May 2.

Thank you to the Boerne Police Foundation and the ROTARY Club Of Fair Oaks Ranch for their donation of $7,500 to BISD for the SRO program at Fair Oaks Ranch Elementary!
These organizations along with Boerne ISD are always finding ways to support the School Resource Officer Program, and further the safety and safety education of our kiddos and schools in our community!

Junior Police Academy

2023 Junior Police Academy

The Fair Oaks Ranch Police Department is offering young people in our community the opportunity to experience law enforcement firsthand. The Fair Oaks Ranch Police Department Junior Police Academy will hold a one (1) week session in the summer of 2023, and is FREE to our Students. Students will learn the basic functions of a working police department as well as have a chance to explore the idea of a possible career in this ever-challenging and demanding field.  

The Academy will be one week long, Monday thru Friday, 9:00 A.M. – 4:00 P.M. The Academy will be held at the Fair Oaks Ranch Police Dept. located at 7286 Dietz Elkhorn Rd.

Brush Pickup Update

UPDATE #36: Brush Pick-Up

Crews have been working throughout sections 7 and 9. Collection in section 9 has been completed, and crews began in section 10 on April 28. 

To help with collection, brush crews have divided Bexar County into thirteen sections. With section one now completed, crews will begin collection in section 2 on April 10 and will proceed in order from 2 to 13. You can view a map of each section by clicking here.
